End of Weekend

This weekend FLEW by! On Friday night, I met a friend for dinner at Red Robin, and then we went to a Colorado Springs Sky Sox game, and that was a lot of fun. On Saturday, I slept in and lesson planned until Dan got done with Flying Team. Then, we had a MASSIVE dinner and just chilled around the house.

Today, though, we decided to go off roading in his truck for the first time, and it was a blast! We found a secluded area and had a nice picnic, and then we went shooting and fishing. It was a great day outdoors, and we are both burnt from the sun. Oops!

We did end up at our favorite place in Woodland Park, Farish Recreation Area (pictured above), where we plan on getting married. We were SO happy and relieved to see that it is still standing after the Waldo Canyon Fire in June/July. The burn scar is REALLY close, but "Wedding Ridge" is green as ever! I can't wait to say: "I do!" :)
